She knows no boundaries and Cane is being written as passive lack of confidence and full of self doubt. Yes I agree he loves Lily but he gave her personal things that he had given to Lily which is a lack of respect and even if the ring lost it's value to him he should not have given it to her or moved her into Lily's house. If Chole has the back room she should use the back door not front and now she is making dinner .
