La punta no es originaria NI de Honduras NI de Guate NI de Belize... la trajeron los GARIFUNAS (mezcla de africanos et indios arawak)que se formaron en las islas St-Vincent Y Dominique... y gracias a ELLOS que luego se establesieron en HONDURAS, GUATEMALA Y BELIZE, podemos decir orgullosamente que la punta es parte de nuestra cultura!!! recordemos que en tiempos que vinieron los negros, todos eran parte de Guatemala, digase honduras, nicaragua, belice... etc etc..... y de alli que se establecieron en el caribe, guatemalteco en ese entonces... pero la cultura no la adquirieron aqui, sino ya la tenian, por que son descendientes de africanos, la verdadera punta viene de Africa solo hay que ver NG o DC para ver que asi bailan por alla... stupidos nacionalismos sin sentido, la musik es libre para todo el que la escuche!!!!!!!!!!!!

skuse people but garifuna is a culture, not a place. The garifuna people live in honduras, guatemala and belize, they speak garifuna language. is a wonderful culture. everibody to dancing puntaaaaaa!!!!! discrimination there are not!!!!!!!!!!!!
