Foreign investors turning bearish on cement stocks

It is difficult times for cement companies, as after the government clampdown, it is now the turn of the monsoons to dampen the cement prices. With huge capacities pouring in, the pressure on prices is all set to intensify, even as input costs are hitting new highs. No wonder that foreign institutional investors are now shying away from cement companies raising questions about the profitability of the cement sector as a whole.
