dionthev, please tell us all where you get your information on ninjas from. What academic resources do you use for your knowledge of what ninjas did and who now teaches authentic ninjutsu? We all await your answers with much interest. Thanks.

i don't like spreading rumors, i have it from a fairly reliable source, besides, it is damn likely that they did. you would be very naive think otherwise. ninja's are assassins after all.

dont spread rumors about hatsumi or takamatsu sensei
babba5 (Friday 28th of November 2008 06:19:35 AM)
dont be stupid when i am training buj sensei always tells uss to attack for real
slapupchrist (Friday 28th of November 2008 07:39:47 PM)
babba5, so you obviously never lunge punch and then just stand there whilst tori does his thing. If this is true, then you are training completely to how Hatsumi and his shihan train and, therefore, you have no idea what Bujinkan really is. If, on the other hand, you DO lunge punch and train in slow motion, then your understanding of what is real is right up shit creek. You need a reality check, sunny. Look at this video. Do you seriously thing the attacks are realistic???!!!

you dont understand what i mean we have to attack strith to the face and not stop when we are close but realy go in like we would if it was real fight
slapupchrist (Saturday 29th of November 2008 01:56:45 PM)
babba5, Bujinkan attacks are not realistic. No one one the street lunge punches. No one on the street lets his opponent 'do his thing' after he's attacked. So, if you are genuinely trying to kick and punch your sensei as you would in a real fight, he's always going to be able to Buj you to the floor. You get so used to Buj training, that you start thinking you're attacking realistically when all you're doing is fast lunge punching.

to all those idiots out there who say this is not real, and won't work in a fight. it is very real, i walk out of training with bruises and sore joints. and the previous grand master (the guy before Hatsumi) was know to do assassination missions for japan, china and other countries. i don't doubt Hatsumi Sensei does too, but i doubt we will ever know.

2/2 My questions to you guys is are these: I feel that the way we practice these techniques is as good as anyone can do them without breaking necks or wrists, etc. So, what is wrong with our training? Also, these complicated classical arts have a lot more techniques in them that MMA. So, are you saying that all these hundreds of techniques are a waste of time? No offence, guys. I just really don't get why you think traditional MA is so bad. Please help me out!
